Common questions
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions bought inside the iPhone or iPad app are managed in Apple's subscription settings; Android purchases are managed in Google Play. If you subscribed on the web, open Profile → Subscription → Manage subscription.
I subscribed but the app still asks me to subscribe.
Open Profile → Subscription and tap Restore purchases, making sure you are signed in to the same store account used for the purchase. If it still doesn't unlock, email us and include the store receipt.
How do I report or block someone?
Every catch, comment, meetup, and message has a report control. Reported content is hidden from you immediately and reviewed within 24 hours. You can block a user from their profile or from Profile → Safety, which removes their content and messages from your app.
A catch won't save or my photo won't upload.
Check that the app has photo/camera and location permission in your device settings, then retry on a stable connection. If it keeps failing, email us the species, date, and what you saw on screen.
How do I delete my account and data?
Use the account deletion page or Profile → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and removes your catches, photos, and messages.
A body of water or a lure is missing.
You can add new waters and lures directly in the app while logging a catch — they become available to other anglers in your state. Email us if something looks wrong.
FishFactor has zero tolerance for abusive users or objectionable content. Report it in the app, or email fishfactorapp@gmail.com with a link or screenshot. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours and offending content and accounts are removed.
